Yesterday I was driving around with my cousin and we were going back to his house to eat our food while I was waiting for my girlfriend to call me. We were sitting at a light on Pearl Road when this riced out Honda Civic pulls up and starts reving his engine and I didnt pay much attention since I know my car (98 Sentra SE w/ SR20DE soon to be the SR20DET) would kick his ass. Well after the light turns green he sees i am not punching it so he gets in front of me and starts break checking me. Then he gets next to me when we stop at the next light and revs so I do the same. We tear down the street I am already pulling on his a$$ hard in second then I hit third and i figure he is done so i start to slow down and he goes flying by me and I downshift back to 2nd hit 60 shift to 3rd then i am at 85 so I shift to 4th then I am really gaining on him next thing I know I am at 100 then 110 then 120 and BOOM my radar detector starts going off like a mofo and after i stop for the next light I get pulled over. The cop is a real nice guy we started talking about my car and he knows my Uncle who is the Sergeant for Middleburg Heights PD and the cop was like you have a nice car try and keep the speed below 120 in a 25, and that was it. Was very scary considering i am 17 and I should have probably lost my license right then anda there. I just felt like I had to share that.
